Fabulous! We were in class together for Brock …. So pumped to see you are moving forward on masters!!! Queens no less…. Bravo!!! Inspirational to us all. Love to see a post about your choice for your masters…. How did you make Queens your choice? What places/courses did you rule out? Got an area of focus so far????
Hi Lauren, thanks for your comment, you have inspired me to post more, in the near future, about the decision process for an M.Ed. program. The most difficult aspect was finding a program accepting Brock graduates from the B.Ed. program ‘as a first degree’; many of the universities required a four year Honours degree along with a B.Ed., so I found myself fairly limited. Queen’s showed itself as a perfect fit, and I am enjoying the program so far (my field of study is Aboriginal Education).
